
Donna Eagle
Office Administrator
Ms. Eagle joined SOL Capital Management Company in October 2004. She is responsible for office and facilities administration, telecommunications, human resources, recruiting and employee benefits.
Prior to joining SOL, Ms. Eagle was employed for 11 years at Powell Tate Public Affairs in Washington, DC, as the Director of Office Services, and was engaged in all facets of office and facilities administration; space planning, allocation, design and construction; purchasing and vendor negotiation and management; and administrative, helpdesk and telecom staff recruitment and management. Previously, she served in a similar capacity for 3 years in the Washington office of Ogilvy & Mather Public Affairs.
Ms. Eagle attended Coldiron Business College in Kentucky, where she majored in business administration.
Elizabeth Sandler*
Comptroller
Ms. Sandler joined SOL Capital Management Company in 1985 as Comptroller. During her tenure, she has provided SOL with the prudence required in dealing with financial matters.
Ms. Sandler attended the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico) and Foothill College (California), majoring in Communications & Marketing.
For many years, Ms. Sandler has been involved in a number of non-profit organizations as project coordinator for fund-raising events.
Doretta Longest
Bookkeeper
Ms. Longest joined SOL Capital Management Company in 2002 as a full charge bookkeeper, maintaining payroll, accounts payable and receivable, banking and financials.
Ms. Longest has over 25 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience in Maryland, and has worked with several client companies as an independent contractor in similar capacities.
Ms. Longest attended the University of Maryland, focusing her studies in accounting.
Stella Parra*
Receptionist / Administrative Assistant
Ms. Parra joined SOL Capital Management Company in November 2009. She is responsible for all front desk activities, ordering and maintaining office supplies, maintaining research files and assisting other departments with special projects. Ms. Parra is also the liaison with building services, the postal service and other delivery providers.
Prior to joining SOL, Ms. Parra was employed for four years by the Association Management Group in McLean, VA, where she provided support for several member associations as membership manager, project coordinator and bilingual administrative assistant. Ms. Parra also has worked for several international organizations, including NORAM Natural Gas in Houston, the US Embassy in the Dominican Republic and Colombo Americano Bi-national Center in Medellin, Colombia.
Ms. Parra received her ESL Certificate from the University of Michigan and has taught English as a Second Language and served as a translator and interpreter.
